Vivekananda Travels (P) Ltd. is a travel & tour operator of acclaim in India recognised by the Department of Tourism, Government of India and also an allied member of the Indian Association of Tour Operators. We are located in Calicut, Kerala. Vivekananda Travels has a wide network of its associate offices at all important cities throughout India. As an active member of the Association of Tour operators we are able to offer quality services all over India according to the requirement of our customers.
Vivekananda Travels was established in 1971 by freedom fighter Late Dr. K.V.C. Narayanan Nair with the sole intention of lending assistance to pilgrims going on Varanasi (Kashi) and Himalayan pilgrimages from Calicut and around in the days when chances of safe return from Kashi & Himalayas was rather difficult. The prime motto of Vivekananda Travels is to extend maximum facilities to the utmost satisfaction of Yathriks with minimum returns and to extend educative information about the visiting places in all respects.
We strive to promote National Integration by conducting Picnic & Pilgrim package tours throughout the length and breadth of India. Our tours are tailor-made to suite the requirements of each client in terms of itinerary, the budget and interests. We operate large fleet of Transport at excellent Rates.
For nearly two decades, Vivekananda Travels a full-service travel company has specialized in inclusive, customized group travel, particularly pilgrimage and study tours. Group tours are conducted at special concession rates for groups of 35 and 49 to the places of their choice. Kashi Yatra is conducted monthly for the convenience of pious Hindu pilgrims.
On our Spiritual Journeys, we strive to help a tourist become a pilgrim, with the right amount of relevant information, unhurried visits to shrines, and most importantly, enough time for what must be a major priority on pilgrimages, prayer. Vivekananda transforms a hectic tour into a grace-filled pilgrimage. Additionally, our guides are very knowledgeable guides, well versed in the Scriptures, attuned to the needs of our pilgrims.
We undertake all types of group tours of students, study tours of teachers, wedding parties, Club member, Employees of Private and public sector enterprises, especially who are eligible for LTC facilities for which we provide good quality vehicles all over India to suit the requirements of our customers.
Late Dr. K.V.C. Narayanan Nair, the founder of Vivekananda Travels was bestowed with "YATHRA GURU AWARD" in 1997, in view if his outstanding performance in the field of pilgrim tours. Mr.C. Narendran, Chairman and Managing Director of Vivekananda travels was awarded "RASHTRIYA EKTA AWARD" by Global Economic Council, New Delhi in 1999 and the "AKSHAYA AWARD 2001" of Akshaya Pusthakanidhi in 2002. These awards are recognition of the meritorious services rendered by the organization to the public.
We are proud of the special Himalaya Yathra conducted in 1998 without monetary return in commemoration of Silver Jubilee of our independence. 165 Yathriks of different walks of life (Sanyasis, Professors, Doctors, Novelist, Philanthropist, Lawyers, Agriculturists, Businessmen, Workers, etc.
