Know Your Destination:

The below linked videos contains the experience & knowledge sharing regarding the Chardham yathra from our beloved Guru & founder Late Mr C Narendran, earned from his 35 years of valuable experience in conducting Himalayan pilgrimages. This can give you an idea of what to expect during this holy pilgrimage in the Devbhumi.

Luggage:

Please be informed that during the Chardham pilgrimage coaches with maximum 27 passenger seating capacity shall only be allowed after taking Himalayan fitness. Hence there is weight restriction regarding the luggage that a bus can carry during the journey. This is to ensure safety of our pilgrims as well. Please be informed that the accompanying kitchen team has to be accommodated in the same bus to avoid any food availability issues during the journey, in case of any road blocks.

Hence, we humbly request the pilgrims to carry minimal luggage, preferably in airbag such that we can tie them up in the over the top luggage carrier in the bus and cover with plastic sheets. We recommend to cover your belongings inside the bag with a plastic sheet/wrapper so that in case of exposure to rains, if any, your belongings do not drench. This is for an additional safety for your clothes & valuables.

Please DO NOT carry any unwanted items which will increase luggage weight & valuable items. Vivekananda Travels Private Limited will not in any way be responsible for your valuables.

Please make sure your luggage & belongings are being carried in the same coach that you are traveling and kindly request to make sure that your luggage is loaded in the coach before the journey and unloaded after the journey.

⚠️Important Attention:

•We recommend you not to wear any gold/other valuable metal ornaments as it is common during cold weather that you may loose them. When your body becomes colder, you tend to freeze sensitivity and you will never know if you loose your rings, chains etc.

• If you have no luggage allowance in your flight ticket, you may restrict the luggage and above items may also be purchased from Delhi Markets, if you reach Delhi early enough.

Please adhere to the instructions given by the pilgrim managers, duly. Kindly feel free to reach out to us, if in case you require any clarifications.

⚠️In case of any emergencies during the journey, you may feel free to contact our GM @ 8943888803, 8943888842, 8138908686

Wishing you a fulfilling safe pilgrimage to the Chardham of Himalayas.
