2. We suggest you to have your ORIGINAL IDENTITY CARD with you, easily accessible, whenever and wherever you roam around in J&K and have them with you through the entire tour.

3. At any/all checkpoints, if the security forces ask for your identity proof, kindly do not hesitate to show them the same and inform them that you are a TOURIST.

4. Due to security reasons, only POSTPAID SIM cards works in J&K, Ladakh UT. (We recommend you carry a postpaid sim card or you can purchase a temporary SIM card from J&K using your ID card, suiting your tenure of stay)

5. We suggest not to carry your luggage during sightseeing tours (specially at Shankaracharya Temple & Chash-m-shahi Garden) as everything including bags and vehicles may/may not be checked, both, physically and electronically. However, please DO NOT leave your valuables in hotel rooms.

6. Please be informed, that as a tourist, you are free to roam around, to take photos and videos in Kashmir. However, due to security reasons photography and videography is prohibited at security force/defence checkpoints, security personnel, camps, airport and at notified religious/tourist attractions. SRINAGAR is defence airport & photography or videography is strictly prohibited during flight, landing, take off & within airport premises.

7. We suggest to ensure that you do not carry any spraying items like perfume etc in hand baggage during flight travel. You may drop such items in check in luggage only, while travelling by flight to Srinagar.

8. Please do not carry any liquids more than 100-150 ml during flight travel. This includes medicated oils like Axe Oil/Kajah Balm etc.

9. As per latest DGCA instruction, passengers can carry water bottle inside aircraft. However, we need to be informed that at some airports you may want to empty the bottle at security check and refill from inside airport after security check.

10. If you’d intend to carry too many medicines (ie., more than 4-5 types and liquid medicines), please ensure that you have a soft-copy or hardcopy of a doctor’s prescription, to produce if they are asked during airport checks.

11. If you are carrying your Insulin along, please make sure the Insulin is already in its injection pen.

12. We recommend you not carry any sharp objects like knife/scissors/nail cutters/swiss knife etc during travel. Unlike other domestic airports, your luggage will go through a security screening before you get them in luggage belt at Srinagar. Kindly do not keep cash in check in luggage.

13. We advise that you ensure to reach Srinagar Airport minimum 3 hours prior to your flight departure time, as you may have multiple security checks in the airport. You should expect at least a minimum of 3 security check points before departure, one at airport entry gate, one before check in and one usual security check & one last frisking prior to boarding the aircraft.

14. Kindly make sure that all your luggage including hand bags & check in luggage is screened through the check point at airport entry gate. Once you enter  the airport, please make sure to put your check in luggage in screening & make sure that the airline staff locks/marks sticker on the baggage zip/number lock. If this is not stickered, your luggage will not be loaded to the aircraft. While check in, please collect the hand luggage tags from the counters & hang them to identify your hand luggage. At the security gate, while you are frisked make sure your boarding pass is stamped with security clearance and once you get all your luggage from scanner, make sure the luggage tags are stamped with security clearance, like you have received in your boarding pass. The sealed boarding pass and hand luggage will be checked before boarding the aircraft. Most often, you may have to open and show your luggage before boarding & you may be frisked once again for your security purposes. Kindly cooperate through the entire process.

15. Please be informed that even your hand bags/laptops are subject to security checks at Srinagar Airport. Hence, if you are carrying mobiles or laptops or tablets or iPads or cameras or kindle or such electronic gadgets, we suggest you to keep their battery charged so that the security officers can open and have them checked in your presence.
